The process outlined below details how to upload your PowerPoint as .JPG images within a chalkboard.

  • open your presentation in the native PowerPoint software
  • click File
  • click Save As

  • select a format of JPG

  • select a location on your local computer that you want to export all slide images to
  • select the Options button or tab

  • set the size to Width: 640  Height: 480 pixels

  • click OK
  • click Save
PowerPoint will save all the slides within your presentation as individual .JPG images (pictures) to the directory you have selected. Once PowerPoint has finished it's save operation;

  • locate the newly created image files
Note: Some versions of PowerPoint will name your slides "Slide1 , Slide2 , Slide3 , etc... If your version of PowerPoint does this and you have less that 100 slides, rename slides 1 through 9  to  "Slide01" through "Slide09". If you have 100 slides or more, rename slides 1 through 99 as "Slide001" through "Slide099". Neglecting to perform this step will cause your slides to appear out of order within the DigialChalk slide bin once uploaded and processed. If you are a Windows user and you have more than 20 images to rename give A.F.5 a try. This is a free software tool that will allow you to rename files in bulk saving you quite a bit of time and effort.
