To use secure photo hosting with Google Photos for adding an image to a test question:

  • Go to: https://photos.google.com
    • NOTE: you must have a Google user account to use this service
  • After you have uploaded your image to Google Photos (or if it's already uploaded), you must click on the image and add it to a "Shared Album"



  • Then go to the shared album and click on the image "in the album" and then click on the share icon at the top right.


  • Then click on "get link"



  • Copy the link



  • Paste the link in another browser window and hit enter. You'll see the image. Click on the image and once it is surrounded with a black background, right click if using a PC, or Control plus click on Mac, and copy the image address. That's the link to use in Digitalchalk.


            



  • Open your test question and click the Insert/Edit Image icon



    • Click the Source field and paste in the image location that you copied from Google Photos, then click the OK button



    • Click the Create or Save button
